Valuable Class Time

It seemed that only 1 or 2 people had actually read the chapter. The teacher kept asking questions but received only silence in return. Crickets. Her lecture was on her specialty. She had a passion for this specific topic, and everyone in the class seemed to have banked on the quality of her presentation and so skipped the assigned reading.

Come on, people. Pay attention. This will be on your final. You'll need to know this. This is very important.

I drew this during the class. It's a mountain landscape with flying fudgecicles, bleeding teeth, musical notes, and a teddy bear falling to it's death. Just doodling.

Luck O D Irish...

I apologize to all of my Chicago friends whom I did not get a chance to see on our little visit. We were busy... We were trying to see as many people as possible... we failed.

The highlight of my weekend had to be giving a statement to the police. Man, it felt good performing my civic duty. I saw it all! I squealed like a stool pigeon about the brawl and my stupid ass even gave my personal info to the officer writing the report. I hope this BS doesn't go to trial...

Ah... the city life. How I miss it.

Yesterday...

There was just enough snow at the bottom of the slide for me to make a few snowballs with which my nephew then enjoyed pelting me in the chest.

Le Quack

"You know, it's like animals, you know? What do people say animals sound like in Japan? Or in France. In America we say ducks 'Quack' but what noise do they make in France? What's French for 'Quack'?"

-Overheard at a local coffee shop while trying to read a chapter for my special education class. I found it strangely appropriate.
